Taylor Swift has been enhanced by the addition of 3 brand new tracks ("I'm Only Me When I'm With You", "Invisible", "A Perfectly Good Heart") and a pop version of the hit single "Teardrops On My Guitar"

What Customers Say About Taylor Swift:

Surprisingly, it's not all bad. My favorite song is Teardrops on My Guitar and that's "probably" because it doesn't sound *that* young. All in all, not a bad album. I would never put myself up as a country expert, but she has a very pop sound. She has limited range and she sounds very young. She really isn't in the same class as them when it comes to vocals. First things first.

Worth the hype. As a habit, any movie, actor, artist, product that is overhyped, I automatically avoid. I get annoyed when someone/something is shoved down my throat and my reaction is to avoid at all costs. I would imagine that the older she gets, she may end up competing with Carrie, Miranda, Laura, etc for the same fans.

So it makes her sound light-voiced (yes, I made that up). Prime example is on 'Tim McGraw,' whomever the male voice is, his sound is much fuller and mature than hers. I bought her Soho live album from itunes, and I really can't listen to it often bc you can definitely see the difference btwn her studio voice and her actual voice. Well, I don't think so, but it's easy listening in the car or at work.

Simple pop, in my opinion, and not really country. With the way all the kids flock to her, I assumed that she was their age (16). Secondly, the content of the songs are quite young (kinda hard not to pick that up) which is fine for her first album. I didn't start listening to Taylor's music until maybe two months ago.

Don't get me wrong, her music is easy listening, but there's no prowess, no umph. I'm not sure if her voice will mature as she gets older, but for her sake I hope it does. You have to accept that while she can keep a tune, her voice is not that strong. I was shocked to find out she's older than that.

I love Taylor Swift and all of her music, and this is no exception.Every song on this disc is very well written and is simply great. If you like any of Taylor Swift's songs, you will definitely like this one.

The musical quality is wonderful and she truly sings the soundtrack to every young girl's life. They consist of anything from revenge to hurt to idealistic love to having a crush on a friend. Her songs talk mainly about love and break-ups but have a quality to them seen among artists much older then she is. They all have good morals, none of them mention sex, alcohol, or drugs. Taylor Swift's self titled debut album is surprisingly good for coming from a sixteen year old.

These are huge issues facing young girls and they lyrics to Taylor's songs are encouraging and uplifting without being cheesy. One s about feeling and being alone in the world just trying to find where you belong, and another is about faking happiness and trying to put on a mask that your ok when you're not. While most of her songs are love songs, the context and situation has a very wide range. Even outside the area of love she has a few songs, and while not as popular, they still send a really great message. Taylor Swift's music has all of these elements. It talks about getting rid of old memories, and the things she didn't like about their relationship. Most of the music out there that younger girls are listening to isn't anything with morals, values or even taste. Even her revenge song, Picture to Burn, isn't vindictive.

The themes of the songs are just what you would expect from a high schooler. All of these are things that affect almost every young girl and Taylor Swift has a very refreshing take on it all. While her themes may seem a tad immature to an older adult they were exactly what many young girls needed both then and now. None of her songs are profane, and they all speak to real life situations.

olds (I enjoy them too, as they remind me of how I felt as a young girl in school). Most songs are OK for 8-10 yr. Fast delivery.item received just as described. Purchased this CD to review for my grand daughter.

Taylor Rox. It's so inspiring and has great beats. I love this cd I can't stop listening to it. Wow.
